Here we go again – The Cherokee County Educational Foundation (CCEF) is excited to announce that the third Grant Application Period for the 2025–2026 school year is officially open! From January 19 through February 28, 2026, Cherokee County School District (CCSD) educators are invited to apply for funding to support innovative classroom projects and meaningful student experiences.
Two Grant Opportunities Available
Since its founding in 2012, CCEF has awarded millions of dollars in grants to CCSD teachers, students, and schools — with every dollar raised going directly back into our classrooms through two impactful grant programs designed to meet a wide range of educational needs.
Rapid Grants offer up to $500 for smaller, quick-turnaround projects. These are great for ideas like author visits, in-school field trips, hands-on science activities, and other experiences that immediately enhance learning.
Impact Grants provide up to $2,500 for larger or long-term initiatives. These grants support more comprehensive projects and have funded everything from robotics programs and music enrichment to inclusive classroom resources across the district.
Both grant programs are open to all CCSD faculty, and awarded funds will be distributed later in the spring 2026 semester.
Please note–CCEF cannot provide funding for:
Furnishing for classrooms
Travel for students or teachers
Student incentives
Equipment that poses physical liabilities
iPads/Computers
3D printers
Professional development
Technology hardware
Facility changes
