Looking Ahead To 2023
As 2022 comes to a close, we are so thankful to look back on another successful and amazing year supporting the students and staff of the Cherokee County School District by promoting teaching, learning, and celebrating achievements. Through so many of our wonderful programs, fundraisers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, CCEF is able to continue making an impact.
There are a couple of great programs that we have kicked off that will run into the beginning of 2023, that we thought we would take a moment to highlight!
2022-2023 T-Shirt Campaign
One of the best ways you can get excited about CCEF in 2023 is by getting ready to show your support with our new T-shirt! In case you missed the announcement, The Cherokee County Educational Foundation has launched its 11th annual T-shirt fundraising campaign! Every year, we design a new t-shirt that mimics a theme discussed at the annual Leadership Symposium. Our most recent t-shirt theme is: "True to Our Roots!"
These T-shirts are a fantastic way to not only show your support for your community, but they also help raise funds to support our Impact Grant program! These "True to Our Roots" T-shirts will be seen all year in our schools and across Cherokee County, and they will become especially handy in next year's photo contest! Order your shirt today to help contribute to CCEF's Impact Grant program, support your local community, and to most of all, the students, teachers, and staff of CCSD!
Impact Grants Are Still Open!
It has only been a few weeks since CCEF opened up submissions for Impact Grant applications, are we are already seeing so many come through! We wanted to remind everyone that you will be able to submit an application for an Impact Grant until January 31, 2023!

If you are looking for the perfect time to come up with a great way to utilize funding for large scale projects and supplies for your classroom, department, or school, now is your chance! If you find yourself with some downtime over the upcoming Holiday Break, take the time to apply! In the past, teachers and faculty members have used their awarded Impact Grant funding to boost inclusivity and connection, encourage young musicians, and provide supplies for classroom robotics.
On the Horizon
Looking deeper into 2023, we are beginning to get excited about next year's CCEF Gala, and another annual Chick-fil-A Moo've It 5K! The gala will take place on March 11th, 2023, and the Moo've It 5K on August 12, 2023. We will begin to announce more information soon, so make sure you are keeping up with us by following our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or by subscribing to our newsletter!
