The Cherokee County Educational Foundation (CCEF) reminds Cherokee County School District (CCSD) educators that Round 2 of Impact and Rapid Grant applications opened on October 1st and will remain open through November 30th, 2025 — so there's still plenty of time to apply and secure funding for your classroom projects!
Two Grant Opportunities Available
Since its start in 2012, CCEF has proudly awarded nearly $1 million in grants to CCSD teachers, students, and schools — with every dollar raised going directly back into our classrooms through two grant programs designed to help meet a variety of educational needs.Rapid Grants provide up to $500 for smaller, quick-turnaround classroom projects. These are ideal for initiatives like author visits, in-school field trips, or hands-on science activities that make learning come alive.
Impact Grants offer up to $2,500 for larger-scale or long-term projects. These applications go through a more detailed review process and have helped fund robotics programs, music enrichment opportunities, and inclusive classroom resources across CCSD.
Both types of grants are open to all CCSD faculty, and funds will be distributed before the end of December 2025.
Please note: CCEF cannot provide funding for classroom furnishings, travel, student incentives, iPads, computers, 3D printers, technology hardware, professional development, or facility changes.
